Refund Policy

Spirit (spirit.org.in) follows a strict refund policy for event registrations and transactions. Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.

1. No Refund Policy

Once a registration is confirmed, no refunds will be processed. Please ensure you are committed before making a payment.

  • All event registrations are final and non-refundable
  • Payment confirmation constitutes acceptance of this policy
  • Consider your decision carefully before proceeding with payment
  • Registration fees are non-transferable between events

Important: No refunds will be issued for any reason including but not limited to schedule conflicts, personal emergencies, or change of mind.

2. Payment Disputes

If a payment is deducted but not confirmed, please contact us with transaction details. Refunds for failed transactions (if applicable) will be credited within 7-10 business days.

  • Payment gateway failures resulting in duplicate charges
  • Technical errors during payment processing
  • Unauthorized transactions (subject to investigation)
  • Bank processing errors

To Report Payment Issues:

  1. Contact us immediately at contactus@spirit.org.in
  2. Provide transaction ID and payment proof
  3. Include details of the issue encountered
  4. Allow 7-10 business days for resolution

3. Transfer of Registration

Registrations are non-transferable, unless specified for a particular event.

  • Cannot transfer registration to another person
  • Cannot transfer registration to another event
  • Cannot transfer registration to future events
  • Special events may have different transfer policies (will be clearly mentioned)
Exception: In rare cases, we may allow transfers for documented medical emergencies. Contact us with medical documentation for consideration.

4. Event Cancellation by Spirit LPU

In the unlikely event that Spirit LPU cancels an event, participants will receive full refunds or credit towards future events.

  • Full refund if event is cancelled by Spirit LPU
  • Option to receive credit for future events
  • Refund processing within 14-21 business days
  • Notification sent to registered email addresses
Force Majeure: Events cancelled due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control will be handled case-by-case.

5. Chargeback Policy

Initiating chargebacks without contacting us first may result in permanent ban from future events.

  • Contact us before initiating any chargeback
  • Provide opportunity to resolve disputes amicably
  • Unjustified chargebacks may result in legal action
  • Account suspension for fraudulent chargeback attempts
